Chiropractic First! PLLC is
pleased to announce some changes in both of our clinics.
1. One is the instrument Dr. Gallagher now uses to adjust
his patients with. It’s called the
Impulse Adjusting Instrument.
The difference between this and the Activator
Adjusting Instrument, (which Dr. Gallagher
was first introduced to in 1985) is the number of impulses
it delivers. The newer instrument delivers 12 thrust over
a period of 2 seconds. The benefits seem to be in that in
addition to not only freeing up the fixated/subluxated segment,
it also helps to restore normal function at the same time.
For the major junctions of the body like the hips, low back,
shoulders and neck have some major muscles that allow for
mobility and stability. When these junctions are out of alignment
the muscles which support that area get very tight and sore.
This new instrument works very well on reducing the spasms
in those very muscles. Patients already say they feel the
muscles relax and the inflamed joints decrease right away.
2. Dr. Gallagher is still making use of his Advanced
Activator training. He uses the advanced
analysis to locate where the problems are. Then with the new
instrument he can fully treat the involved area by adjusting
the bones and address the accompanying stiff and sore muscles.
Note* Dr. Gallagher will only use the Atlas Orthogonal
Instrument for adjusting his patient’s atlas, the

3. The other addition to our clinics is The
Associate Platinum. This device is digital
foot scanner that helps Dr. Gallagher evaluate his patient’s
postural health. For if they have poor stability in their
feet, even though the patient may not feel it, it will result
in an instable foundation. This in turn will effect the body’s
ability to keep the corrections delivered in the low back
and pelvic area.
The
knees are a common area that will be adversely effected by
fallen arches in your feet. For when the inside of your foot
drops the knee tends to follow and that sends the alteration
right up to your hip. Then the sacrum/tail-bone will shift
to the low side and the lumbar spine will sway that way. All
of this can be the result of problems from fallen arches in
your feet. The device shows where the stress comes into the
feet and it will even color code it for the patients. We then
will give them a print out of what we find which they can
take home with them.

Good
News!
After eight years of serving the Triangle area of North Carolina,
Chiropractic First/Dr. Gallagher has expanded its care to
Eastern North Carolina. In April of 2009, we opened another
chiropractic clinic in Goldsboro, NC.
Why
Goldsboro?
Firstly, I am familiar with the Goldsboro area. My oldest
brother is retired there from Seymour Johnson Air Force base.
Furthermore,
Eastern North Carolina used to be serviced by an Atlas Orthogonal
(A.O.) chiropractor who practiced in Goldsboro. We both also
studied under Dr. Roy Sweat, the inventor of A.O. Due to personal
circumstances, that practice no longer exists, thus creating
a need for another A.O. clinic in Eastern NC.
Lastly
is the new location. The A.O. line of care is offered by only
eleven practices listed in the State of North Carolina . In
fact, a practice in
North Raleigh use to be the closest to serve the people of
Eastern North Carolina. That is why we have “Good News!”
in stating that Chiropractic First is now reaching out to
serve the residents of the Eastern North Carolina area.
